It's been a while since i've posted on here, so what better way to get back into posting than to share some photos of an awesome couple. Erica and Scott traveled to Vineland, NJ from the Bronx, NY to get married at the Savoy Inn. After some scary rain clouds in the morning the weather cleared for a beautiful garden ceromony and a fun photo session in a nearby park.

I'm getting ready to photograph Karen and James' wedding this weekend at the Seaview in Galloway Township and I thought that I would share some images from their engagment session. We had an amazing time! I met them at their place in Hobooken and travled to all of their favorite romantic spots in Hobooken and NY. Karen and James took me to a few of their favorite places when they first started dating and even to the office building where it all began. Even the rain and thunderstorms couldn't keep this couple from having a great time.

I'm really looking forward to getting another chance to hang out with them at their wedding this weekend.

Wedding: May 22, 2010 at the Stone Harbor Yacht Club.

Jeff and I have been together for 6 years. Jeff was a coxwain at Monsignor Bonner and all guys school and I was a rower, at Prendie, the girls school. A good friend of mine was going to the prom with Jeff's friend so when she was called to find someone for his friend to take the prom she immediately gave my name. The four of us went to a Sixers game to get to know each other. We had a great time, but Jeff and very quiet and shy. I had never met Jeff before even though we were both on the Crew teams for 4 years, but I was coaching his little sister on the freshman team at the time. Jeff called on night and asked me to the prom, forgetting to even tell me who it was when he called. My friends and I all got a kick about how shy he was. I thought the dance would be very awkward since we never talked much, but it turned out to be a great time. He was a perfect gentleman at the dance and surprise, surprise very quiet.
After the prom he called to hang out and since then we slowly became better and better friends and started dating the night before I left for College. I was off to Penn State and Jeff was going to Northeastern, I never thought it would last the distance, but it did. We were together 2 years long distance before I transferred to Northeastern to peruse a Nursing degree. All worked out well being at the same school and we are now happily in love and getting married next may. I couldn't be happier, we have a dog buddy that we're crazy about and our families get along great. We are both from the Philadelphia area and moving back from Boston to be closer to our families. We choose the Jersey Shore as the place to get married because it is our favorite place to vacation and so many of our memories started down at the Jersey shore, we went to the shore after the prom, spent a summer together living in a house with friends and go every summer for vacation. It has always been my dream to get married on the beach and that will soon come true.

Sean and I met almost eight years ago. It was love at first sight. From the moment we met we were always together. I always knew we would be together forever. Sean has never been a romantic. A coworker told him that if he could not be romantic when he proposed, it had to be a surprise. On Thanksgiving morning (at 6:00 a.m. before he went to work) he came into the room and turned on every light. I yelled at him because I was still sleeping. He then got into bed and told me how much he loved me and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and then asked me to marry him. I was shocked! I then felt bad for yelling at him for turning on all of the lights.

Wedding: June 6, 2010, Absecon United Methodist Church and reception at The Carriage House, Galloway

The way we met is beautiful, and the way he proposed was magic, however, our love is best shown throughout the past 8 weeks. We met through a mutual friend. She happened to have dated Brian’s cousin years past, and then happened to be my college roommate. We met February 3, 2007 and have been together since. Our proposal story was magical. Brian's family took us on a cruise in January 2009. Brian insisted one night, after the captains dinner that he wanted to show me the bow of the ship. I told him that "the bow isn't going anywhere hunny, let’s go to the show instead". After some persistence on his part, we went in search of the bow. When we found that it was closed off that night due to wind, we went down to deck four and saw the most amazing full moon I've ever seen. I marveled at the fact that this would be the perfect place for a wedding or a honey moon. I looked over to Brian down on one knee saying "Is it the perfect place for me to ask you to marry me??" With that, I said Yes! and as they say the rest is history! We went on to have a wonderful 7 day cruise with his family, celebrating every night!
Our love story is comprised of the night we met, our engagement story but most importantly the last 7 weeks. Brian is a proud member of the United States Army and I am a proud fiancée! He is a Private First Class and is currently attending Basic Training for 15 weeks in Fort Benning Georgia. The love we share has grown deeper through the distance. Times are hard for both of us. He is away in an unfamiliar place with no connection to tv, radio, internet or any outside media. I am left here trying to carry on a life built for two. We are not allowed to make phone calls and communicate through letters only. Through taking the time to write to each other, we have gotten to know each other on levels I didn't even know were possible. He writes: "I can't wait to be home. To just see you, touch your hair, and talk to you. I can't wait to look into your eyes and talk about our future. I am so excited to start our lives together." Brian is the greatest man I've ever known. He is selfless and he loves our country. He chose to serve because of his deep love for the United States and his belief in our Armed Forces. He also chose to serve to help our future by finishing school (through the military) and through military bonuses are we able to pay for our wedding. We are financing our wedding on our own and if it wasn't for the Army, we would have to wait much longer to get married. Our love has grown through the time, effort and thought that it takes to sit down and hand write a letter. We will be scrap booking these letters as invaluable proof to our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of how strong and deep our love is for each other. We have learned to let the little things go by the wayside, because nothing else matters than being together. We've learned through this time apart that anything can be worked out or talked out and we should just be thankful when we can be under the same roof. Fortunately, Brian wont be deployed before our wedding due to a special program he is in. It is a blessing and a privilege to be engaged to a wonderful man with a infinite love for myself and for his country! That is our greatest love story! Finding each other on the deepest levels through distance, commitment to each other, and time taken to sit and write our deepest thoughts and feelings to each other!

Wedding Date: September 19, 2009 at Shannon's Country House, Atco NJ

My sister and I share the same birthday which is November 20th. We are four years apart in age. So since she turned 40 this year I gave her a surprise birthday party on November 22, 2008. It all began towards the end of the party. My sister, Rachel was cutting the cake, and Frank asked her if he could say a few words to everyone. She said “ok”.
He begins by thanking everyone for coming to celebrate with us, and me for planning a great party. He continues on with his speech, and now everyone’s looking around, wondering where he’s going with all this; because we were trying to get back to partying.
That’s when I heard him say, “In front of her friends and family…..” I turned around and he was down on one knee and said “Will you marry me?” I immediately started crying. Everyone started yelling, screaming, and running towards us. Next thing I knew we were being tackled by my family. My sister knocked the ring out Frank’s hand. He’s on the floor scrambling around between people’s feet trying to locate the ring. Everyone’s yelling out “what did she say?”, “did she answer?”, and “say yes!”
He finally got the ring, gets back into position and asked again “will you marry me?”
And before I could answer, my sister yells out “YES”. Everybody’s laughing telling him that wasn’t Michelle’s answer. Meanwhile, I’m still crying and laughing at the same time; just trying to get over the shock. Frank extends out his arm, takes my hand and looks at me. I finally answer “Yes I’ll marry you” and he puts the ring on my finger. We hugged and kissed. Then everyone congratulated us on our engagement. THE END
Let me tell you if the cameras were rolling, it definitely would have been on America’s Funniest Videos.

I'm really excited to share these photos! We got the chance to photograph an awesome wedding in Cape May. Despite the rain, Caroline and James had an amazing wedding. From the beautiful Our Lady Star of the Sea church in Cape May, to the always classy Seaview Marriott in Galloway Township, there were no shortage of fun places to take photos of the great couple.

We had the chance to photograph a great wedding last weekend at Smithville Inn. Tina and Justen were a great couple to work with. You could instantly see how in love they were.
